Over the years we have had the good fortune of actually dealing with a few really old Chinese companies headed by some very
respectable old Chinese gentlemen whose words are as good as gold. For them, a handshake is all it takes to seal a deal.
If they give you their word then rest assured they will stick to it. For them their
good name and reputation are priceless. Sadly, they are a dying breed in a world where many businessmen wouldn’t think twice about cheating their customers.
We prefer to do our work professionally i.e. the
need to have things in black and white.
As we operate in many areas of the world, it is better to be safe than sorry. We work professionally with our buyers and suppliers. Before we start sending our buyers
to a supplier, we need to put in place a simple Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalise the working arrangements between us and the supplier.
